Inspired by the mid-century modern style that is visually ignited through Ray Bradbury’s “There Will Come Soft Rains” (1950). I designed and illustrated the short story with stylized imagery, depicting the foreboding ending with color and a narrative arc across the spreads. The final book was bound using the drum leaf technique and two copies were produced.
